Celebration of Life
Concert for Renee Fine
A Celebration Of Life Concert for Renee Fine was held at Shelton Manor in Idaho Springs, Colorado.
Renee passed away in April of 2023. Renee was a violinist for the Boulder Philharmonic as well as fiddler for the Celtic Rock band The Indulgers and the Celtic/Folk/Bluegrass/Rock band Wild Mountain Band. She was also co-founder of SIDE OF THE ROAD SHOW YouTube channel.
Renee's Celebration Of Life Concert featured a set from the Celebrators including Mike Nile (bass/vocals) from Spirit, The Indulgers, and Wild Mountain Band and Neale Heywood (guitar/vocals) from Fleetwood Mac and Lindsey Buckingham, as well as Sarah Jones (vocals) and David Potter (banjo/vocals) from Wild Mountain Band, Mike's son Ryan Bee (guitar/vocals), Mark DeGeorge (keyboards) and Todd Strandberg (drums). Vocalist/guitarist Keith Wren and sax player Kirk Glienke also joined The Celebrators for a couple of songs.
The Celebration also featured sets from good friends Band Of Brothers a hard rock blues band, Celtic Friends a vocal Celtic group, Keith Wren a solo artist, and Lords Of Bard Creek an original heavy metal hard rock band.
The manor in Idaho Springs was provided by Dave Shelton, an old friend of Renee's that is a custom guitar builder, wood carver, guitar player/vocalist and owner of the manor - which in itself is a sculpture. Many thanks to Dave and everyone who was able to share this beautiful and memorable day for Renee. She was definitely there with everyone in thought, prayers, and musical memories.
